Frasier decides to join Niles at his office and take up private practice again, but sibling rivalry soon becomes the order of the day.
Frasier has to give the eulogy at his great aunt’s funeral but doesn’t have a very fond memory for her, while Martin tries to fulfill his lifelong dream of writing a song for Frank Sinatra.
Bulldog starts playing on-air jokes at Frasier’s expense, so he decides to retaliate - but unfortunately, it lands the new station manager, Kate Costas, in the hospital instead
After Frasier’s floor is scratched after he and Niles accidentally drop Martin’s chair while moving it, Frasier hires handyman Joe DeCarlo to fix the problem, who Daphne then develops a crush for. Niles, however, is less than happy about this developing romance.
In the first part of a 2-part story, Frasier is elected spokeperson for the support staff to convince Kate Costas to give them their 5% raise. However, their antagonism towards each other soon develops into animal-like lust.
In the second part of a 2-part story, Frasier feels things are moving too quickly with Kate, but when they let their lust for each other be broadcast accidentally over the airwaves with Frasier and Kate calling each other Bad Boy and Dirty Girl, everyone wants to know who “Dirty Girl” is…
Niles is frantic after Maris goes missing, but it turns out she was on a shopping trip and forgot to leave a note. This latest act of selfishness prompts Frasier to say to Niles he should lay down the law with Maris - which he does. Maris then phones later wanting a divorce…
Frasier’s son Frederick is staying over Christmas and has ordered some educational toys for his presents. These get sent to the wrong address though, forcing Frasier and Niles to visit a mall on Christmas Eve in search of replacements.
Kate Costas is about to move on to another job, forcing her and Frasier to re-assess the relationship the might have had. Did they make the right decision?
